Read Dead Redemption 2 Online

Finally, we were able to play together online.

The first few times we tried, we ran into bugs and server issues that made it impossible to play together, but we were successful tonight aside from a few glitches!

It's super fun. It has all the parts we loved about playing Grand Theft Auto 5 together.

We get to work together to gun down waves of enemies in order to complete missions.

We then earn XP from the completed missions to increase the ranks of our charters, and then we unlock new features as our ranks go up.

It's fun and addictive, and I can't think of a better person to play with.

We'll have to add posts about our characters soon.

Early Christmas Gifting!

Tonight, Cassie and I decided to exchange the Christmas presents we got for one another. 

As one who knows Cassie could guess, it was initially her idea, but I didn't see anything wrong with it.

Anyway, Cassie got to open and listen to music with her coveted Apple AirPods. 

She was rapping every Cardi B lyric with a confidence I've never heard before, so needless to say, she freaking loved her gift.

And then there was my gift...

My amazing girl got me 9 Nanoleaf panels for my studio! 

These things are so awesome, and when the lights flash with the music, the room feels like a high-end night club. 

We're going to have so much fun with them.

I can't wait to hang them up tomorrow, as I was setting up my new computer today!

6th (!!!!) Christmas

Shadow and I decided to give each other our Christmas gifts today. We are going to be pretty busy the next few days, so we wanted to have time to enjoy our gifts and each other’s happiness over our gifts. I got Shadow some Nanoleaf lights for his studio and he got me some AirPods! I’m ?. I’ve been really wanting some for awhile. They are actually even better then I thought they would be. No wire restrictions, and they even sound good with only one in. So I can multi task. Also, what about this is mine and Shadow’s 6th freaking Christmas together. That’s pretty crazy. I’ve spent a fourth of my lifetime Christmas's with him now. And every year that number will get bigger. Crazy. My love for him gets bigger too. I’m stoked to have the four days straight with him. I hope Cathy’s is open this weekend, so we can get chocolate gravy and biscuits.

I Know You Know

I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS BOOK FOREVER!!!

So, I have been borrowing books from Tennessee Reads. I really like the ability to have the book always on me whenever I want to read it. Anywho, I specifically requested the online library to buy this books (me and like 200 other people). When they finally bought it, I had to wait. And it’s finally here!

Not sure I will have time to read it tonight. I have to get up early to get ready for Destiny’s Christmas class party. I always have fun going to her school!

C4K Aftermath

Cassie and I participated in Christmas 4 Kids for the 3rd time last night.

It was definitely not my best year as my kid was extremely shy.

Cassie's kid was good though, and she was in and out in 30 minutes or less.

Everyone else at work had great experiences with their kids except for Pam, but she was better at steering her silent child than I was.

Fingers crossed that I get a more interactive kid next year.

Christmas 4 Kids

Hey, this is my first entry! I know Shadow will be excited to see me using this. Today is the day we do Christmas 4 Kids. I always have so much fun participating in this event. I hope I get a young kid this time. I had a girl the first year and a boy last year, but both were older. I think it would be fun to have a little kid. I also hope that it’s not over as fast as it was last year. I feel like we are becoming pros with this event anyway. We get baskets, and have just discovered the Walmart app which scans and keeps up with your prices. So I think it will be super easy. I am looking forward to dinner afterwards too. We talked about going to Bonfire, so I hope that’s still a thing ?

Fam, Ham, and Big Mouth

Tonight was a great visit with the in-laws!

Cassie surprised me by making ham, and I had a few awesome glasses of sweet tea!

After Daryl and I sprawled out of the floor because of our stuffed stomachs, we shared our early Christmas presents starting a old/new family tradition.

After everyone left, Cassie and I watched a couple episodes of this super raunchy cartoon on Netflix called "Big Mouth". 

It's really bad, but it cracks us up so much.

I think I want to watch another before bed.
